In April 2026, the Carson City District Court granted a TRO requested by the Nevada Gaming Control Board, prohibiting Kalshi from offering sports, elections, and entertainment contracts to Nevada residents and enforcing a 21+ age requirement. The CFTC filed an amicus brief in the Ninth Circuit supporting Kalshi.
